I think of the accordion fold as a transitional book form because it can be read in different ways: holding a contained space, turning images & text and as a standing sculpture with changing angles for differing views.
Blink Books are accordion fold books. They contain printed photographs that were taken with a pinhole camera made from a gourd. The poetry* was inspired by the image.
*A blind blinks a code.
